Not in a vy kyle, nearly all guys claiming over 260rwkw in a vy are full of shit most vy's with cams only make 265-280rwkw, 235-250rwkw would be the norm.
One of the cars iv tuned only made 225rwkw with 4-1's, twin2.5", otr and tune. I know the parts are good for more as they had all been on my maloo before and the tune is good as i done it and it took some work to get 225rwkw out of it let me tell you, some cars dont make the numbers but are quick others are just sluggs and my mates ute is one of them.

IMO 235rwkw looks spot on for a tuned VY on a no bullshit dyno.

Don't forget that his will make that power run after run ... yours will have dropped 100rwkw by the 3rd run !!!

The SS has been cammed, Went with a 225/228/110 with 600+lift, Best mod i have done thus far, SOOOO much mid-range torque and hi rev punch, apart from some issues i had with cam surge i am 110% happy :drivin:

I progressively raised the revs about 500rpm on each run, The last run i Launched at 6000Rpm Still bogged down, I think i need to man up and slip that zgrip a bit more.... :headbang:

On each run my Et dropped, so more revs=Quicker launch

Yeah thats how i first launched but it just tramped hard, I found dumping it about half way into the friction point then slipping it out worked best, Cant wait for the Tc drag day to get it sussed :helmet:

just ride it out hard at 6000rpm but dont forget to plant the foot right in and control it with the clutch

Been a while since my last update!

I went a PB of 12.6@115 1.9,60Ft on our private track day, and i also managed to take out alot of aggression on some tires :thumbs:

I feel there was alot left in that set up but i have since smashed the factory diff and snapped the tailshaft in 2, so im in the process of getting a 4:11 ratio LSD with Harrop diff cover built by the boys @ Russo

Im hoping to get my 60Ft right down and pedal it into the low 12's high 11's

Only time will tell

I have also recently added a PWR power steering cooler to the front of the car for when i eventually get it out to wakefield.

Thanks to the boys at Russo, i have a nice fresh Diff sporting Hart 4:11 diffgears and thanks to Luke i have a nice new Harrop Cover to go with it.

New half shafts are in, Now i have 2 spares and Spare stub axles for the drag day :D

Had a bit of a disaster with the car, The Sleve went in spectacular fasion which left me with an oil soaked Zgrip :( Lets just say oil + Cerametalic = No drive... Pulled the box out and swapped out the slave (the bearing was shagged) and emptied 2 cans of brake clean onto the Z, so we put the box back in and took it for a drive.... Slipping.... load it up in 3rd and it slips same deal in 4th. So i got the shits took it out to a "private road" and spanked it.. and it fixed itself :D Guessing it burned away any residue or the carbon soaked it up. Was VERY releived to say the least...

What a weekend :D

Managed a PB of 11.91@115 with a 1.70 60ft but got kicked because im not ANDRA licensed with no Harness :(

Also managed to go postal on some stockies and torch them well and good

Me and SL34ZE had some epic battles both on the track and in the burnout box :p
