The new ute looks great Dave. Well both utes but you already know I like the green one.
Great to passenger in too.
Bit of action from a cruise a little while ago where Dave kindly invited me along.
Bit a a shame going around Hidden Valley was slow as it it was clear it would be been some good fun.

Sorry Dave , i get back in my box.:hide:
Been looking for at least a year now for a tidy HQ,my first ute was a HQ,always wanted to run twin blowers, see how we go.

Finally found some time to take the Green ute back to Marrano's,loaded it on the truck and took it myself,i dont trust anyone else with it,my wife came for a run to,four and a half days in the truck at only a thousand k's a day.
We were in Sydney for a couple of days but had a fair bit of running round to do,drove out to penrith to get some motorbike bits only to find they were closed for the week.
The plan is to slot another T51R on the other side.
Took it back to Con at Pedders granville while i was there,he fitted a set of XA extreme front struts, new bushes allround and some new sway bars.
It is now in getting the fuse box moved behind the drivers seat and the computer moved to make some room.
New gearbox is being built and diff is ordered.
Sonny is on the case and it was good to catch up with him Murat , Mark and crew again.
Gave the HQ a run at the nostalgia's.
Only ran a flat 12 @ 115,the diff is way to short and it was running out of legs with about 3 sec to go.
Some idiot forgot to turn the nos on and was also to stupid to back off and blew a hole in no 6 above the rings ,way to rich,so i am in the process of pulling that out to rebuild it now.

Cheers Seldo, i am slowly getting it right, use the strongest things straight up, saves changing them a bit down the track, the motor is doing that hp easy and can be wound up to about 1500 with blower pulley's which i have, its also making that hp on pump fuel.

Bit of an update ,the VE is twin turbo now and thanks to Sonny made a reasonable amount of power and can do it consistantly, still some tidying up to do ,its currently getting a big hp TH400 fitted.

And yes the plan is to register it , i have approval in principle ,the engineers and the local TAC have been out and are happy so far ,obviously the blower will have to come off and diff wheels but so far so good.
I have been setting up a manifold carby ect to make it a reasonably quick swap when required.

The HQ looks like a 2 bit harlet at the moment ,mate is doing a nip and tuck , then painting it.
Was almost getting back together then changed my mind on the paint, have most things ready to bolt up when he is done, pretty keen to get hold of it,managed to pick this up on the weekend,55 F100 pro street ,flew down to have a look, very sweet bit of kit, room for a blower aswell, almost have enough ci and hp in the shed now to turn top fuel blower slowly.
