Hey Guys,

I did this ages ago but only recently have had time to sort the photos out. It actually belongs to a member (not sure of his username though).

For the most part it got a 2 stage polish with 3 stages needed in some stage. Intensive polish 3.01 on an orange festool pad followed by Final finish 106FF on a beige festool pad. The car was finished in Duragloss 601 and 105.

I cant remember seeing Dan post pics of a white car before and after. Have you done one and snapped it mate? Curious on the difference that can be created with a lighter colour, because the darker coulours look sensational!

Here is Nicks old SSV. Its afters only http://www.trackchat.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=2542&highlight=stormtrooper. I havnt done many white ones because its harder to see the marks so people dont get them done. I have some more of the SSV from when i did it for the new owner. I just need to get those pics processed. Not sure if there are any befores in there. With white you need very specific light to see the marks and its also very hard for the camera to pick them up

Hey everyone

The car featured in this thread is my Monaro. I heard about DMS detailing on this forum and after having seen some examples of his results here, I decided to give Dan a call and get him on to the job as I was confident that he could sort out 4 years' worth of accumulated paint blemishes.

To say that I was ecstatic with the result is an understatement. Mates who've seen the car since Dan worked on it were also impressed. I think that the "after" shots speak for themselves :)

Dan, thanks again for your work on the Monaro - I'm no longer embarrassed to take it out for its Sunday drive as it now looks as good as, if not better than it did when I first bought 4 and half years' ago.

Wow ... looks like a top job with kickass finish.

Other than that ... sorta looks like a shitbox. Probably owned by a twat too.

I'd be up for that I'd reckon. Gives me time to do some repairs to my front bumper. That'll keep the young fella busy... :D

As always Dan, bloody SENSATIONAL!

Heh - and hopefully it won't be too long before you have a white one to get hard at work on.... The SV6 needs a GOOD going over - the swirls and scratches are VERY noticeable to me... ;) I remember seeing the pics of Nick's "Stormtrooper" wagoon - looked fantastic. White may mask the swirls and so on a little, but when it is nicely buffed it looks awesome.

Anyways, looking forward to engaging your services Mate.... And call me about that "other stuff" too! ;)

Cheerz!
