Sorry Dunc,

"I am going to close and soon move this, at the request of the OP's"

What is OP's????? - i just wrote a wrap about this Forum (that didn't make it online before you cut it off) about having the balls to let people say facts.... now you close it?:swear:
I can hear the 'we dont wanna get sued' crap again - sorry Dunc - that is a COP OUT - you would be crap at Poker - its been tried on LS wanker site for years - how many law suits against a forum has there been? FFS! Im so frustrated i cant write any more (well for 5 mins at least :lol:)

OP's= original poster.
Thanks saj.

So, WTF was the point of the whole original thread :doh: :doh:

If you are going to go public. Then do it. Don't go public for 8hrs then 'oh, ill stop going public now'.
So, excuses are;
1. the Police (Detectives) called me and told me to take it down it off the Forum 'straight away', as 'it is under investigation' (because they watch this Forum every minute of the day :lol: ) and after 4mths of investigation, being on several forums, the last 30mins they rang you.....
OR;
2. i was wrong. So sorry to those offended. Shouldn't have posted
OR;
3. we settled out of Court (out of Forum :lol: ). Confidential settlement so can't disclose the payout

Which one was it?

Sorry to cut you off Chop (not intended).

Most of us are mates on here (distinct from the dive bombers who just joined up to have an online argument) so i will say this:

1. Nobody is claiming the legal angle/thing, TC never has (to my knowledge) nor will.

2. The thread is still visible for all to see, at least until we figure out what is going on. Seriously, only peple who know the intimate details should comment on what it's all about. I still have NFI.

3. I have closed it at the request of the original poster. Anyone who is thus offended, perhaps you can take it up with them? Given the circumstances, if the OP wants it removed i dont really see much of a problem. Maybe i am wrong (i often am!)

4. The ls1 comparison isn't really fair (actually, quite offensive!)

Please cut me some slack until we figure out what this is all about.

To say I was disappointed when I first read what was being alleged is an understatement :yike:

I am reserving my judgement till a later date..........that is all!

Fair enough if the OP requested it be locked.

I have now communicated with both parties who BOTH want the thread removed.

So be it.

I see no issue given the above.

If this was about someone buying a dodgy product, or someone being ripped off (and wanting to persue it further online) - the thread would remain.

This is different.

The thread is gone.

If anyone has an issue, perhaps take it up with the people involved.

There is no value leaving the thread alive when both sides of the argument want it gone.

Thanks Duncan..

Steve, I and Matt have spent way too many after-hours work on this case.

Call either of us tomorrow if you want some closure :)

Luke

1. please dont - its a breath of fresh air - i thought you/ TC succumbed for a moment there - my apologies to you - seriously
2. Great to see the original thread is still there - the fact that you/i have NFI doesn't matter. We are not having a secret convo between mates here. FFS its a public forum. If someone posts something to the world then tells you you have no right to be curious about it and/or give your view and/or find out what it is about - well that makes that person look as stupid as the guy they are complaining about.
3. As above
4. Sorry.... actually sorry i have to point it out. Someone goes online, pours out their/ their Company's problem for the World to see. Then x hrs later, thread CLOSED (whether by OP or other). Protected by a Moderator. It is infact the same albeit offensive to you.

..........Tell the OP that they posted it, so it stays up and running as a thread. That would be different for a forum :hero:

I understand Chop. As it stands both sides want to remove the thread. So it's now gone. I think that's fair. For the moment, i think we should assume there are good reasons why both parties wanted to remove their own posts. Best to leave it there.

I have to agree with you mate ... too many people getting ripped off because no one is aloud to point the finger at the butt holes in public. However, when the thread starter asks that the thread be removed we have to do it ...

I've seen it before and we'll see it again ...

Even more reason for regular catch ups in person I say, don't pike on the next one mate ... :D
