We only use Super pro stuff here,
The Pedders stuff (Nolathane) is very hard and has very little give, this causes it to wear quicker and also is a very harsh ride, The Super pro Urethane bushes are softer which means that they have extra give and will last longer.
I put the super pro mounts in my girlfriends car, if i didnt think it was good stuff it wouldnt be in her car!
A few of the boys here have commodores as you know, as well as the boss, his wife and his daughter.....and they all have it in there.

Pedders and Nolathane are very similar (made in the same place). Go the Superpro's, WAY better than the red crap.

i have skyline mates that had superpro installed, and found them shit, squeaky, and that was with professional install and greased up.

they swapped them out for noltek or whiteline

Noltec no longer exists.
There are still a few bits and pieces available around but not too much.
I have never seen the whiteline strut tops for commodores so i do not know what they are like.

Then they were installed incorrectly...

Super-Pro does not squeak if installed correctly.

Noltec is no longer a company for a good reason.

so today i took the missus to dubbo in the ss and what do you know the strut tops shat themself on a small pot hole and im 300km from home.

so checked all the parts places and suspention shops and not one place had decent bushes so it got standards put back in.

on the plus side the fitter at pedders (the cheapest place) offered to fit lowered springs with no labour cost only what they charge for the bearings and mounts. all up i got out of it for $551 for the lot so cheering at that and my old man even paid for the springs as a early xmas pressie.

will post some picks of it tomorrow after work

how can pedders and nolathane be the same in strut tops??? Or pedders harder?

pedders are rubber, nolathane isn't, but pedders do stock the other but prefer to fit the improved rubber ones they manufacture

I've got nolathene in mine at the moment coupled with coilovers and find the ride a bit too harsh for street use. Would converting to the Super pro's make a worthwhile difference?
