Why can't Holden / HSV make ads like this !!!

I guess it's because of all the anti-speeding rules in Aus ... such a shame.

Oh the humanity.....fainting....getting back up.

Oh well since I lack the interlect to make decisions for myself I off to drag the cops because after seeing such a shocking ad I dont see any other choice. VTIC BTW.

Imagine the uproar from about seven people around the country who believe we are all far too inferior to control ourselves after that, seven comlaints (or whatever the measly line in the sand is) and it would be banned in Aus

Running the risk of sound ing like I'm typing with one hand here so I'll stop just annoying that clever advertising like that can't be aired in a 'free' country.

So the seven complaining dwarfs wouldn't even get a chance to put pen to paper to complain about the ad.

Makes me want one so the ad works for me.:)

That would make sense wouldn't it Azza, kind of like making school zones on major arterials ... let's slow 50,000 cars down because they are driving past a school. FFS, with major roads shouldn't they just build a fence and teach kids to stay off the road !!!

Thats gold. Good find Nick.

A mate of mine got one of the first CSV Corsa's and was driving to Tamworth when he saw the flashing lights in his rear mirror.

He wasn't speeding and when he pulled over he asked why they stopped him. Seems the country coppa's just wanted to see what kind of car it was as they had never seen one :lol: They didn't "take him in" like the ad though.

that sure is the best ad ever... pitty holden cant make one like that :headbang:
