Since Oran Park is now no more, where can you go if you wanted to start legal drifting, i.e. off-street?

any corner you want, allthough you did say legal:dunno: .
There were a few places doing drift schools befor but they were out at op as well, may be best to check with them.
Iv been thinking about attending a drift school, good fun for decent $ in their supplied car.
Drifting is finished in Sydney now, with OP gone.
EC, WP aren't interested (can't say I blame them)
and Marulan are having issues too apprently (not operating?)
RIP drifting in old sydney town.

Yet Current affair and the likes throw out smear campaigns against illegal drifting on public roads and the government takes away our only legal drift circuit. Good work Labour. P.S. I don't condone street racing P.P.S. i have no proof it was labours fault Oran Park shut but there getting blamed for everything lately so I thought i'd throw it out there:postwhore:

the drift school is still going on, they were at powercruise
handing stuff out, so they must be doing it somewhere, I would
assume it would be at eastern creek but I have not looked into
it yet.
oran park closing is a tradgity, by far the best track we had in sydney
RIP ORAN PARK

Here here. Such a shame! Now Eastern Creek has bumped their prices up to coincide with its closure. Pricks!

Wakefield isn't THAT close either lol! Who wants to buy up some rural property with me and design and develop Trackchat's own circuit?

It has been used for a couple of private days here and there, Circuit Club have used it previously
It is not a safe track, especially for drifting IMO

Driving Solutions (Eastern Creek) has Drift School which runs for 4hrs & costs $200, done in your own car. Dates here: http://www.drivingsolutions.com.au/calendar/.
Project D is running night courses for $449. You use their cars though (rice). Dates here: http://www.projectddriftschool.com.au/bookings/.
May sign up for one of the Driving Solutions dates later in the year. Might just be an expensive skid-pan day, but hopefully the tuition is ok.

Hmm the drift school doesn't look too bad. Only 4 hours though. Atleast its on a wet skid pan so less tyre and drivetrain wear

There are Twilight Drift nights now held at EC once a month on a Friday Night
Driving Sports are hosting them and have been a lot of fun so far with them running all three tracks Peanut, Wet Skidpan and the Big Track from Turn 4 to Turn 12. You can have passengers too with cars that are roll caged
Check them out here: http://www.drivingsports.com.au/
