Streaming is pretty cool ... works well. Only issue at this stage is the focus on the top 3, been watching for half an hour and seen nothing but Evos.

... great idea though, nice to be able to watch the race.

Now I've seen everything... Race stopped due to a fallen tree on the track, just past forrest elbow/conrod straight.

According the race control the 'Pace car' is 12th in the race due to number of laps it has done. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Awesome work guys. I would have loved to have seen a 2 lap sprint at the end but oh well.

Impressed the wagon finished 4th.

An edge of the seat anti-climax! Either way, well done and well raced.

you guys got ripped:soap: , what the hell was that falcon driver thinking not stopping when his car blew befor climbing up the mountain, it was either a complete idiot behind the wheel or a descent favor for someone.

Congrats AEM ... bitter sweet I guess, 2nd is great but you can't help but feel ripped off with that ending.

Awesome result though, such a strong team ... well done.

Watched it for most of the afternoon, it was great. The crash was sickening... lucky no one was hurt.

I was on the edge of my seat for the last 30 or so minutes, a little upset @ the Falcon driver ... as Tim said he should have stopped a lot earlier than where he finished up.

To the AEM boy's, great result.... well done. :bravo:

Well, we got a podium finish, and if it wasn't for some poor decisions by falcon drivers, we may have given PM a run in the last 2 laps.

David drove the ring out of the car in the last stint, he took about 2 to 3 seconds a lap from PM, but in the end they just had too much of a gap.

The team are all very happy with the results, it's a shame about not winning, but 2nd is an awesome result for a team without the big name drivers, budget, and attitude.

I'm buggered, i think I need a weeks sleep to recover:D

Cheers,
Shaun.

I'm sure Scott will detail out everything. Hopefully put up some in car footage.

Thanks guys!

We had a great weekend....

Lets face it... Second Outright is awesome!:yahoo:

It was definately a very frustrating last 30mins or so.

It would have been a very interesting couple of lap tussle.

We will get some pics and video up in the next week.

Like Westie, I am buggered ...

Scotty

PS did anyone record the stream?

Street Tunas post on LS1....

Did you hear anything about the second place (Easts EVO9) being disqualified? Puts the wagon in 3rd

Any truth to this??

Final results for Sunday's Amor All Bathurst 12hr remain provisional.
Post-race scrutineering found a turbo boost irregularity in the Evo IX of David and Des Wall and Trevor Symonds, which finished second.
The hearing was deferred pending further investigation

So, no we have not been disqualified....

However we are working with the Scrutineers to resolve the irregularity.

There were many cars held by the Scrutineers post race for differing reasons including the Wagon.

Hopefully it's just a minor glitch.. Though how strict are they on specifics of boost pressure?

Westie, hate to say it but dave wall is a pretty big name driver in my books, sure he may not race in the v8sc series but I rate 2009 GT champ to be pretty epic :D

Yeah Kyle I rate him aswell. He still didn't get really any attention from the press in comparison with the rest of the teams over the weekend. They only put the camera on us once they realised we would more than likely get a podium finish.

The GT series should be great this year, more different cars. I'm liking them more than the V8's at the moment.
