What are your guys opinions on allowing GT3 cars into next years Bathurst 12 hour? what would that mean for Alan East Motorsport for 2011?

I don't know what it would mean for top quartile teams but I am in two minds about the idea. It looks like the event is starting to gather good momentum (with no exotics) which i think is significant in itself. The mainstream enthusiast market is hungry for the showroom/grassroots bathurst event, it could be really big in it's current form if promoted more aggressively. Leave the big dollar cars out for my $0.02 - Of course commercial realities my dictate otherwise (look what happened to FOSC@Bathurst this year).

Far out that was somthing different. Big crash, truck loads of rain and a bloody fallen tree. Total spinout. Have to say some of the driving of the BMW was not exactly in the spirit of things but it was racing.

I can see why the finish was so tight now Scotty and they only started doing the TV of your teams car at the end. Deserved much more TV time thats for sure.
THe wagon and BMW was good to watch but so dam obvious they were doing it to get their cars on TV. Two big names dicing like that for 40 odd laps straight was good TV but totally unrealistic. Good on them as it was great coverage for their cars.

Good to watch, really enjoyed the rear wheel drives taking on the AWD and then once it dried up the opposite. Well done production cars. :aussie:
