Tonner is gone

Just a quick update
After 250,000klms of faithful service the tonner got traded about 3weeks ago.
Head overruled heart and a new VE SV6 ute (redhot M6) is the replacement.
Was spending about $1100 per month on fuel (do about 900k per week) this should reduce to about $7-800 per month - yet to be verified.
Pretty happy with the SV6 - has the SIDI engine, keeps up with traffic but of course does not have the torque of the old girl.
Good - no rattles, comfy, extra features over the VY.
Bad - 1st + reverse very close together (trap for the unaware), usual VE A-pillar vision issue, not much feel to the clutch.
No modification plans ATM.

congrats on the new purchase.the new engine has nearly as much power as the vxss.just need to lower the new ute down and few feet and all will be good.

Wont be getting lowered Phil. Too many washouts on my (rural) driveway. I have to be careful at FE2 height. The minister for War and Finance will want the driveway fixed before new springs.
