Been there done that. I went to buy a 1/2 price jackl and some stands and none in stock. Just a ploy to get you in the shop and buy a more expensive item do to the cheap stuff not in stock.

I found a better one at independant motormart anyway. 1700kg jack, very cool plastic carry case for the jack and a set of stands for $90. Good price but he dropped some money when I showed him the specials at Supercheap.

All jacks and stands do meet the new australian standards now. There was a whole bunch recalled due to the update in the standards and all jack and stands had to be re-assessed. All majors stores and the load carrying gear they sell do legally have to sell items to meet this standard.

I managed to get in early and get a pair. Great buy. Heaps stronger than my smaller ones. I bought a large jack too a few weeks ago. The thing is they dont have that many in stock (specials) to sell. When I bought my large jack, the guy says "The firies (Fire Brigade boys) came in and bought a pallet load of jacks. Wiped out his whole stock............ Toooo much time on their hands I think!!!!
Supercheap are good if your quick and know quality for money....
