i went 8.2@155 shutting it off around 1000ft due to a boost control issue.. another wastegate will fix that before next time out.. you can see the flames out the gate when it hits the boost cut..

I have the video ready to upload tonight. The system was the RaceVid HD but not the updated model so the screw on mount was not there and the guys had to make do. It worked ok but the Gforce still moved the mount on take off an ti moved around down the track.
The video quality came up solid as just looking not quite where the best angle was during the run

I will make sure you get the new version send down ready for the 30th with a really solid roll cage mount with it. It wont move this time.

The videos of the two runs. As mentioned this is the old version of the RaceVid HD so not a decent mount. That si all fixed now. I reduced them heaps through a converter to reduce the file length. Only about 20mb each so the original is heaps clearer.

the cam works great, bit of a slap together cam mount was really the only problem, cant wait to try it with the new mount :)

almost ready for the 30th now. the boys have spent a bit of time this week redoing some catch cans, pulled the heads off to check how everything is going in there and all is good so they are back on now, slight change to the fuel pump drive ratio to speed it up a little and just general maintence like checking the floaters are tight etc etc

The new mount will sort it out. I sent a new roll cage mount design to benny but never got a photo of it. I will rig up another one and PM you a photo first.
Glad I could help. Nice and clear video and obviously could handle a fair bit of vibration so it should be spot on next time.

nice mate! what i was planning on doing was what i did in the old car with 2 clamps around the cage and then a platform to bolt the cam too, it worked pretty well before.. the sound is good as well, you can clearly hear it hit the boost cut on the second run!

ive got the orignals on my laptop and the picture is amazing! im going to try marks Cam on the boat as well and see how it goes there,

yep still with the iron block, hydroic cam and shit.. motor is nothing special at all..

will put a big motor in it one day..

it should be good for low 7's now!
