Guys, Just a quick question about how you look after your jerry cans at the track so that someone doesnt spike or steal your fuel?

The reasons I ask is that I am aware of at least one occasion recently where kids (approx 15) were seen putting sugar in someones jerry cans at a very popular andra drag strip near brisbane. When asked what they were doing, they of course, bolted and were not caught. :yike:

But looking around after this I noticed how many containers or left in the open during these events (Test and Tune)

If you are spending big $$$ on your engine I think fuel security may be an issue.

I was thinking of looking at some kind of lockable cap but wondered what others do. :bat:

I wonder if the people who had sugar in their tanks ran better times?

Mythbusters proved sugar in tank made engine run better!!

Not the same can be said for bleach though...

May or may not be true, but I for one would not like to be the one to check the theory though

Just put security seal tape over it. If the seal is broken then don't use it

$50 doesn't seem like bad value for piece of mind if spiking/theft is a problem at your track...
