I was reading the latest Motor mag that Gilly bought me and towards the back of the mag there is a articel about Speed Cameras in the UK and just how many there are there.

Whilst destroying gov property is illegal and stupid these guys on the site have a funny way of informing you of where speed camera are :lmao:

I went past 2 of them today - they are nothing but a revenue raising bottleneck. Why cant we Aussies be more aggressive toward our fixed tax cameras??? :flame:

I heard in the news there was a call (probably from that Scruby guy) to make NSW speed cameras essentially hidden (unposted). If Scruby got his way, they would be in wheely bins for sure i reckon..

As NSW people know, speed cameras are CLEARLY marked; everyone slows down, and most people don't get pinged. The idea being, speed cameras in known "black spots" force people to slow down in said "black spot", I guess in that sense it works. Everyone knows they are there, and everyone slows down.

Apparently speed cameras are not sign posted in Victoria? But, does everyone know where they are anyway?

Ive done a fair bit of driving in Melbourne and I didnt have a clue untill I got the ticket in the mail.

They hide them anywhere down there, Wheely bins is one that i have seen in an email.

They are unmarked weather in cars, vans, bins, or on a poll with a separt flash unit.

VICTORIA - THE REVENUE STATE....

If the hidden cameras dont get you, the parking police scum pop out of bushes and trees to ping you for .05 of a second past the amount of time you are allowed to park in any particular spot. And their no parking signs are mounted 9 feet above eye level so you can see them only with a ladder, and they are the size of a postage stamp!!






Whew, I'm done with my rant now - just dont get me started on that fool Scruby!! :rocket: :mgun: :bash:
