G'day ALL...

I have a little issue with my Engine Oil sensor pressure switch...I tried on LS 1but unfortunately got little help,
Can some one tell me where the exact location is and app. how much is it.
I think I found it, behind the manifold passenger side, the other part was that the valley cover (pvc) hoses I think...has a large split in it right on the "Y" joint...also could this be the reason why I'm getting a fault reading with the oil switch. I intend to change the Sensor just for safe keeping, any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Goran

Goran, from memory when I had mine replaced, it was around $55 from Holden. I could be a fair bit off (it was a while ago)...but it was definitely under $100.

Thanks Martin, you wouldn't know where it's located...but the price sounds good...:) I think the Hose cost more than the sensor....

The oil pressure unit is located on the passenger side rear of the manifold, have look down there and you will see it,though one thing i can tell you,its alot more then $55 !

its alot more then $55 !

Hmm...sorry about that, I must be thinking of the wrong part.
Sonny - (if you remember at all) is that what you replaced in my Calais just before you went on holidays last year (edit: err...2005 I mean)? Or was that something else?

I seem to remember it was the oil pressure switch, and the heater tap (maybe that's where my $55 figure came from?)

Apologies Goran.

Cheers,
- Febs.
