Its with much sadness that I must let you all know that a long time member of Trackchat and a mate of mine and many others here, Mr Terry McGowan has passed away.

Terry was known as Atsetu on Trackchat, before that he user name was Utesta and on other forum Tez was AKA Uterus.

Details are limited but Erik has been in contact with mates of ours from V8Owners.com.au who told us of the very sad loss. Terry passed away on the 16th of July 2010.

As more infromation is released we will post it up here straight away.

Terry will be remembered by me and many others as a very easy going, friendly and knowledgeable man. I spent many a good time at his business, chatting about cars and seeing how skilled Terry was with his RC Nitro cars. Man those things went fast and he could make them do what he wanted.

My thoughts are with his partner and his family at this very sad time.

Thanks for posting Troy.

Tez & I had a healthy (read titanic) drag racing rivalry a few years back, most memorable was the race to be the first bolt-on 11sec M6 in NSW (back in 2006 iirc). Long story short, he came sooo close, but no cigar. He did get his 11, just not first. I ran my 11 literally the run before he did :D. Pipped him by less than a minute. He was crushed about that :headbang:, but still stoked he'd cracked the magical bolt-on 11  .

Good times with a good bloke.

Deepest condolences to his family & close friends.
