i have an Sti, see avatar, and enjoy track days. I was introduced to this forum and fun cars by our son.. He had a wrx as his first toy then I had one now the STi..

ALL HIS FAULT of course.

If he hadn't shown me how much fun the All wheel drive turbo fours are I would still be in V8 land. He is enjoying driver training club days on skid pans etc and has now survived his first track day at WP in his Evo 9.

Its a good toy. I drove it over the Xmas holidays canberra to Adelaide then around the barossa, Adelaide hills then back. great toy. I also had a chance to take it to batemans bay and back again. Boy does it love the climb up the mountain. So much more refined then my Go kart.

I still think the Sti whoosh and the burble are very hard to beat.

So your son is to blame for your love of cars hey ... usually it's the other way around. My boys have no chance, I'll need to keep an eye on them when they are old enough to drive, 6 & 8 years old and already performance car nuts!

You cant beat the sound of the Boxer engine.

Yes we do need to have an Evo Vs STi day. the Evo will towel me but boy won't it be fun
