I it is with a heavy heart that I offer my pride and joy up for sale :(
Physics and Economies of scale (Read: I need the space and the money)have deemed it necessary for me to sell my mistress.
The car:
VN Commy, 500hp (non stroker), PWR allow radiator, twin master cyl bias adjustable brake set up, GrpA rotors with 4 spot calipers, 18x9 rims(6 of), High Energy Fully gated sump, lightened flywheel, Fully adjustable coil over suspension front and rear, Selbys adjustable front sway bar, selbys rear sway bar, MSD Ignition and timing set up. etc etc etc way to much to list.
The car has done a best of 1.52 @ Eastern creek, but it has alot more in it.... This car has had no "Set up" work done on it ( ie Corner weighting and fine tuning of the suspension) and has NEVER had decent set of tyres on it, I've only ever had 2nd hand Yokohama A048's on it (Improved Production Control tyre).. which aren't much of a tyre to start with(as far as race tyres go ). With a decent set of tyres and a few tweaks of the suspension this car is more than capable of mid 40's at Eastern Creek.
Last year this car won the 2009 HDT cup Class A Modern championship, and is a regular front runner in the HDT cup.
In 2011 the HDT cup will have 3 rounds in Sydney and 3 in QLD, and it is an awesome series
The car has 3 log books, CAMS 3J (Improved Production,there is a state championship in every state), iRace and AASA... so you can pretty well much jump in it and race in just about any series you want. All of the hard work and big $$$ have already been put into it.
This car has a hell of a lot more potential.... the engine hasn't even been stroked so there is plenty more potential for more power, not that it needs it.
along with the car you'll get the following parts that I was putting together to further develop the car:
.Dry sump, pump,brackets, pulleys
.Harrop front and rear brake set up with about 6sets of race pads
.Billet Flywheel to suit Tilton 7 1/4 inch clutch
.A mountain of race rubber
Pretty well much every thing I have for the car goes with it.
I need the car gone quickly( before I get all sentimental and change my mind :lol: ) so I have priced it accordingly.
I reckon I have spent close to the asking price alone in the last 12 months improving the car.. so who ever buys this will be getting a bargain.. and no to mention something that is ready to race...
The car is located in Sydney, but I'm more that willing to assist interstate buyers if need be.
