Its a great weekend boys, ive been twice(won bolt-on 1 year)very relaxed atmosphere, plenty to look at,good dim sims and licenced food outlet(weell might not be licenced but they sell piss)great drive to get there as well.theres a speed way there , they had a smash up derby the second year I was ther which I was in that was a real hoot.Smashing good time you could say.Dont hesitate to go boys, you will not be disapointed.

So are any of the 'big hitters' from NSW coming down for this? NickS? Oztrack etc?
Nice cool weather to unleash the beasties :yep: I know NickS's coupe would have suffered horribly @ WSID when he ran last. Good opurtunity to strech its legs and no doubt be a center of attention :bravo:

Thanks Gareth, I am sure it would be a heap of fun but I have 2 small issues;
1 - Family holiday starts that weekend, we are heading North for the week
2 - With the way my gearbox is feeling ATM I reckon I would do a VooDoo and roll over the line.
Maybe next year though ... have fun guys.
BTW ... I'm a "big hitter" ???
I am not a big hitter, but i am planning on going regardless

I'll correct you here Nick ;) Voodoo's trans didnt break he chucked a rod out of the motor :yep:
As for the heavy hitter.... I think the publiciy your car got on ls1.com.au is enough to put it up in that league.

Packing up the big tent and taking along the missus and four kids and camping trackside for a couple of nights :)
we decided not to get a motel cos if the kids get bored they (and I) can go back to the tent and relax:)
i havnt heard of anyone else taking the missus and kids yet!!

BTW, Gareth, welcome to TrackChat.
I started this thread and unfortunately due to a little bit of medical stuff, I'm still not sure whether I'll be able to make it. It's a timing issue that depends upon when stuff happens relative to when LS1 Nats happen. I'm still hopeful though, I think there'll be some serious weaponry there.

Rick,
Ask your soon to be wife to think win-win and perhaps you could combine the two events.
Bags not being around when you float that idea. :hmmm
Seriously, good luck with the big day
Lemme know what you run :j/k

So i guess this means, given it will be your anniversary on this date each year, you will never be able to make it to the LS1 nats. Bugger!

Got the word last night, all's going well however I'll be having treatment in the week leading up to LS1 nats, so unfortunately that puts me out. Bummer!
Was looking forward to see BLO402, HPF Project OZI-GTO, Sergen GTS, Higgins, Big Shaun's car, Tuna's F Body, the red NOS SS (higgins/HPF customer), and I'm sure G & D will have a surprise or two! Lots of 9 sec cars among that lot (and probably some I've forgotten)!
Oh well, always next year.
