got the unit installed on friday, well stage 1 anyway. bloody great little thing indeed. Although i originally wanted the IVA - W200e , i got the better W200ri at a better price :). I also got the unit to run off the holden steering wheel controls which is an added bonus, the only down point is he handbrake has to be on to play the DVDs, apparently this is mandatory now :(
heres a link for those interested in specs

out of curiosity what was needed to get the steering wheel controls to work?
Im told I need to spend another $200 odd on an infrared adapter (peswix or something) to hook my controls up to an IR which then uses the Alpines remote control input to work.
Ive gradually got used to using the radios controls unfortunately, but the wheel controls are still just sitting there with the hope of hooking them up one day

i not sure on what the exact software used on the unit, i just got this little box ($200) that wires to the unit and steering wheel, and allows it to be controlled by the steer wheel controls. the rest of the system will have alpine ddliner 6.5" splits and an alpine amp/sub/ the sub will be mounted in a custom fibreglass enclosure between the 2 seats
There is a way around the handbrake switch, just make sure that if you get pulled over for rbt/speeding etc to fold the screen in pronto :)
Where did you get it fitted?
