Just found this and thought I'd share. :)

It basically uses Google Maps to work out the distance of routes for you! The best part being - if you can see it from space, you can work out the distance! Great for runners/walkers, but very interesting even if you're not into that. :)
I went for a long walk on Sunday, through bush fire trails and wondered how long it was. Without a GPS, there was no way to know how far I walked, but with this website and 10 minutes of double-clicking, I worked out my route was about 7km long. You can even save your route (as a referrer link on their website) and send it to mates.
I've started getting into running lately, so this is going to be very useful. :)
