I have just priced up a set of coil overs for my car that I am happy with and I am looking at selling my Bilstein shock/ Eibach spring set up to make up some of the costs.

Having never sold anything like this what do you guys think they are worth? I think the whole package was originaly $2200 when I bought it. The rear shocks have just been rebuilt and revalved (over $300) so are basicly a new shock and they come with front struts so the buyers originals wont have to be cut and they are a straight drop in solution. The struts alone cost me $400 before adding the Bilsteins.

What do you think I should advertise them for?

Cheers

Will they work on a VYSS and will they make the car sit lower ???

No idea what they are worth, but if they suit I'd be very interested.

Nick, Dunc has that setup on his car... pretty sure its slightly lower than "standard".

As for asking for an asking price, how long is a piece of string? Daniel, you'll never recover what the initial outlay + mods cost you. Just throw up a slightly inflated figure so that when someone offers you a little less, it is what you were after in the first place. They'll think they got a bargain & you'll be happy you got what you wanted :). Bilstein/Eibach are supposed to be a great package... Personally, I'd ask $1500, settle for $1300.

Sure will, they were in my VX SS before I moved them to my Monaro. That is why I added the struts after. They lowered my SS to about 30mm but different cars seem to come out of the factory at different heights. Even the same model!

Yeah I was in no way expecting to recover the costs all up and what you listed was around what I was thinking but I was wondering if I was asking to much. I havent seen any of these packages come up for sale so had nothing to base it off. Thanks for your honest reply, I think I will advertise around that price range.
