As most knows CAMS have a certain life insurance coverage when you get membership but I found out my life and serious injury insurance policy I get coverage even on a race track.
It is limited to sprints, fun days ect and no bumber to bumber actual racing racing like IP, state and national racing etc. I checked with the type of racing I do and it is covered.

It might be an idea your life and injury insurance to check to see if a option exists or if you can get it ticked.
The standard one with cams is quite small but you can pay extra to cams for more insurance.

I tried to get cover for when on track and couldn't. I even had it almost sorted with one company and they decided at the 11th hour to double my premium! So i barred them.

Be careful with the policy coz they were saying they'd cover me as long as no other cars on track at the same time but of course with supersprints there are always going to be other cars on track.

It's no point for me to get a policy with track cover now coz i race my car door to door and no insurance company will cover that. so i've just got standard life, TPD and income protection insurance but doesn't cover me on track :(
