Just to add to bomi's thread about why evos are great...
I went down to wakefield on Thursday with some mates for the private day.
Tommo's evo is an 8MR. It's stock apart from exhaust and a small amount of boost.
His best time on the day was 1.13.7710

They're an awesome machine, with so so so much potential. With the right driver and chassis setup, you can easily run 1.09's.
Vince rigoli came down also in a much more modded 9 and posted a 1.09.54
Given the chance (missus :( ) I'd be jumping at the chance to change over to an evo 6 tommi makkinen or an evo 7mr.
Anyway, thats my contriution for the week......
..if you get an opportunity to drive one of these, make sure you do, it's well worth it! :)
