Hi everyone,

Found my way over from the LS1 forums after watching some of Bomi's (excellent :bow:) track day videos, found that I recognise a few faces :wave:

I've got a 2001 VX Clubsport in sting red, not an R8 but has the rare option of leather seats which was the clincher, although they aren't coulson seats they still look the business.

As far as mods go I'm concentrating on mods to prepare me for a gen-TT installation, so far I've had a Textralia clutch put in, next install will be either the harrop performance package or the Alcon monoblock 6 package, depending on how rich I feel! (probably the harrops then), and then a twin 3" difillipo catback exhaust. Other installs include an ORRSOM otrcai (to keep me going while i save for the TT) which has given me 221rwkw with maf and no tune, and an Alpine IVA-W200E

I joined this forum because I'm new to Australia and looking to meet a bunch of like minded people to hit the track with, shoot ideas and generally hang out with. Already signed up to a trackday at Wakefield on March 3rd be great if some of you could join me. Looking forward to meeting you all at the next one!

I saw your post on LS1 last week where you asked if anyone knew a site that organised regular track days, I was trying to think of a way to tell you about TrackChat as that's exactly what we do !!! LS1 has a bit of a complex about other forums so we are not allowed to be mentioned over there.

Anyway, a bunch of us do regular days down at Wakefield so you are at the right place. We are having a dyno day at Castle Hill Exhaust on the 17th March and then we are going Karting at Eastern Creek after that ... why do you come along and meet all the regular stooges.
