Last week we fitted extractors hi flow cats and 2 1/2 cat back system to this VE SSV M6. We have yet to put this car on a dyno but we did some testing last year with the exhaust company and saw a 24 kw increase with the same system.
the owner of this car is a keen drag racer and has raced the car standard running 13.8@ 164 km and with the exhaust system only 13.4@ 170 km and thinks it will go faster as 60 ft times were down due to poor track conditions.
Over the next few days Christian will be playing around with the tune, so it will be interesting to see future results. i will post them up as we get them.
here is some pics of the system.
Christian has some more detailed pics of the extractors i will see if he can post them up.

Good to see you guys getting stuck into the VEs ... look forward to some updates as things progress. The whole LS1 modification scene doesn't really have any suprises anymore, I'm loving all this new stuff !!!
Top work boys.
That exhaust looks good guys, tucked in nice and tight.
These motors are proving to be as good, if not better than LS2's; and the E38/E40 PCM's have a few challenges in them thats for sure.

Here is a pic of the drivers side extractor with a high flow metal cat. A big improvement to the orignal cast manifold and cat

I agree with Skat... looks like you could cook in it or something.
Can someone explain to a simple lad (not me:eyes: ) this exhaust. Whats with the boiler?

is that rear aero panel between the rear pipes removeable seperatly to the bumpers
so guys any update on this; i hear Mick was running around 110mph using this kit, on street tyres and stock diff. Mick when are you going to try some drag radials!
justin@russo

thats right dunc micks ve is running consistant 12.8s @ 110mph on standard road tyres with this exhaust and a maf tune imagine what it could do with et streets and some better diff gears. i think he had it at the CHE boys dyno day and it made 256 rwkw we were happy to see the dyno figures back up with the track times.
