Radio question VY into VX seriesII?

Just wondering if a VY radio will work in a VX with the steering controls?

you would need to get the VY head unit to suit the VX mounting bracket, from memory VY head unit is bigger or longer or something, plus I think it uses a different plug because VX was Blaupunkt and VY is Eurovox or visa versa??

Yep, VY headunits are definitely bigger. VT-VXII uses a true double-DIN headunit, VY-VZ uses "double-DIN and a little bit" :lol:

Not sure about the steering wheel controls sorry Azza.

I"ve been told only Blaupunkt make a after market double DIN that is able to be plugged in to the VX and still use the steering controls. Is this the case or does another manufacturer make a double DIN also thats suits the wiring for the VX?
