G'day everyone

Well after many months (close to 6 I think) of driving around without any music as my old hifi had bit the dust i decided during the uni break to get off my bum and sort something out.

I ended up getting a new head unit from Pioneer, new Sony Xplod 130W 4inch front speakers and 210W JBL rear 6x9 speakers. I all bought them from Strathfield car raidos at Concord and Brookvale - If you want good deals i strongly suggest you go to these guys. My Pioneer head unit was reduced from $270 to $120, the JBL's were $130 down to $68. I dont know whether or not the Sonys were on sale, but they were only $48!

The head unit goes well and is quite powerful (50x4W) and the bass and depth from the JBL's are unreal! I recommend them to anyone thinking of upgrading there system.

A big thanks go to Scott (Skat2k3) and Chris for letting me using there driveway and showing me the ropes! And Lynda (Tigs) for providing moral support esp after the whole fuse issue :lmao:

P.s If your stereo stops working make sure you check ALL your fuses hey Scott? Haha

Good stuff Alex.

Not a bad sound for less than $250 and looks neat as

3 fuse boxes and 4 different types of fuses in that thing of yours.

At least you know exactly which one and which type controls the stereo now.

Cheers,

Scott

Good work guys ... The House of Scat (good name for a music shop ) is sure starting to pump out these stereo upgrades.

Hey Alex, if you play the stereo & run the air-con. at the same time ... do you still have enough power for forward motion ???

:stick:

Kudos to the Northern beaches sound master and apprentice :bravo:

Not to toot ones own trumpet but this sort of stuff is what I reckon we're all about. Members helping other members out. Nice one Alex. :woohoo:
