Now thats the shit... I am VERY interested in how this car gets power down! There is somthing about the new E Series setup, getting power down is great, i wouldnt be suprised if 2nd gear roll on throttle producees next to know wheel spin... Those 275 rears, improved weight distrobution, and new suspension make for a very sticky ass end... I was blown away in the wet being able to hold 1st and 2nd WOTT without any loss of traction..

Keep us posted Sonny!

On Behalf of Sonny...

While we have been waiting on some bits,we have made a start to the fuel system, our first task was to get 2pumps into the tank to supply the custom rails and run some lines to the engine bay, heres some pics of the biuld process. You will notice that the factory pump sits inside the actual fuel filter which is sealed,i would presume that GM will supply these filters as the lasT model was a case of changing the whole swirl pot assembly, where as this model has a detachable filter,so i,d say this ways cheaper for the consumer.

Is that a second 'in tank' assembly or do you fit two pumps in to the standard 'in tank' swirl pot assembly?

I don't know what you are talking about Sonny, I have never heard them ???

yep, with my turbo conversion, probably the only downside I'd say I've had to put up with.

Mind you, not as much of a nuisance to me as it may be to others as I'm pretty deaf. I don't hear them over the radio! With your dual pump 'in tank' arrangement, how low can you take the fuel level in the tank?

I think, IMHO that those fuel pumps sound tuff as fark!!

And yes I have been in cars that have them so I know how loud thtey can be.

But its up to the individual I guess.

Alan,

you can run it as low as 1/4 tank easily with out any issues.

On Behalf of Sonny

Sorry for the late update on this guys & gals ,we have been super busy and been waiting on parts,so we have decided to go ahead with other area's of the install,we have been working flat out to design a fuel system as room in the VE's is a problem, very tightly biult vehicle,we have manged to make a twin intank pump set up with duel fuel lines and factory fuel filters to make it easy during service. We have also been flat out working the best way to install the boost controller with it being hidden and looking factory & lastly started fitting up the intercooler setup, there will be more to cum shortly ....enjoy the pics....

This project is almost at the closing stages,we have finally fired her up and checked for any leaks or defects, made sure its all running oki.On monday we will be sending it to the exhaust place to get a custom dual 3inch system made up,then it comes back to me to hit the rollers, then i will be doing a few days of testing to make sure it all works well & nothings touching or rubbing against anything, these tests are carried out to ensure the owners experiences a pleasant expereince with this project he has chosen, here are some asorted pics of the car, though there is one suprise edition to this project which will be revealed as shanes asked me to add a additional mod to this vehicle
