Today we had another brand new hsv roll in,it had 3000km's on it and was totally stock,i have to say the white really caught my eye, looks fantastic ! Anyway we powered her up in std form while the owner watched, then we removed his air box assembly and fitted a cold air intake system, and repowered her back up in the same conditions and wow ! it was impressive in std form, makes as much power as some cam only cars, but after the cai it went striaght to 255rwkw's ,thats very impressive, with a tune and di fillipo exhaust,i,m sure it may hit the 270 to 280rwkw mark, these hsv VE's quite impressive, heres some pics and data, enjoy

Yes yes, i need to talk to you about this Sonny... My TT $ turned into a boat, but, i reakon a CAI + Tune could do the trick, maybe thermostat?

I have noticed with the stock tune, there is a bit of 'surge' during roll on throttle (Using my SOTP meter), you know if this is normal?

I would be interested to see how much power the R8 can get to the ground, even in the wet i can hold WOT from roll on 1st gear without ANY slip at all, in the dry, its like the ass end is literally glued to the ground even when turning 1st gear WOT isnt a problem (if you roll on, stomp results in some sweet ass oppy lock).. I would put money that rolling on throttle to WOT in 2nd would still have the ass of that TT R8 with almost full traction
