Will an 18" or 19" tyre fit in the spare wheel well of a vx? Standard tyre is 17".

18" will 100% fit in spare wheel well.

If you asking for the reason I think you asking ... 17 inch is enough, it will fit on the rear, just means you need to change 2 tyres if you get a flat on the front.

Having said that, if you manage to source some sort of 18" pair, I would be interested in one too, for now I'm sticking with the 17" option.

FWIW an 18" spare doesnt fit in my (Monaro) wheel well. Which I think is stupid.

I don't understand why not, unless Monaro well is designed specifically for space saver. The 17" and 18" wheel/tyre combo is the same OD and width as each other, the only difference is the tyre profile (which is the reason that overall dimensions are the same).

Agree with Red. They all should fit as the rolling diameter should be the same from 17 - 19 inch.
