Gday Choppo, is the new engine in yet?

As of Monday last, all built and run in on engie dyno:yep::bravo:
Sam convinced me to run at the drag day this weekend with current engine (he recon's with the new one ill run a 15sec best as i don't have the car set up to run quick as yet - AND i can't drive:) ) Simialrly the KAZZ wont be in (meant to go tomorrow) because i wont have enough time to run it in and do all the bloody figure 8's needed before Sunday..... so ill be running the same set up as last time - hope i get more than 3 runs this time and get a bit of experience up (last go was my 1st time) before the new engine goes in. Still, ive got heaps of power - just got to learn to get the thing down the track! P.S. got myself some 275x17 MT's this time so i hope i can beat my best of 2.6sec 60":lmao:

Axles :headbang: ive speant the last month reasearching the damn things..... ive got some 'tough' ones in for the weekend but i think im onto a good thing with 'bullet proof' ones in the next week or two.... we will see how tough, the 'tough' ones are this weekend:yep:

Well it didn't go so good...... first run left the traction control on and bunnie hopped the full length ot the track:doh:. Second run 'SNNNAAAAPPPP!!' :headbang: :headbang: Spent the next hour or so under the car fitting the spare drive shaft i bought with me...
One day ill actually get a decent go at the track!

Had a track day at WSID on Sunday..... last time i got two runs, this time only 1 before i broke the drive shaft (different side this time!)

1st time at track a couple mths ago, got 2 full runs and about 120ft on third run - then towed off and towed home.
Last weekend, got 1 full run (with Trac Control on i.e. bunny hopped all the way down :yike: :lmao: ) and i think i rolled upto the 60' mark :headbang: .
So thats 2 days at $200 each = $400 = $100 per run so far :shock: this is an expensive sport!

Regardless, if you end up 3 for 3 at our June drag day ... come and see me (if I haven't already busted some myself) and you can borrow one of my spares and we'll swap them over.
