About a year ago, I had the monaro professionally detailed with Zaino products and polish, as did a few other members on here.

Although there are still fine scratches if you look real close (I could have had these removed but didn't go the full monte) from a metre or more away, you can't see them.

What I absolutely love about this Zaino stuff, is once its done properly, keeping the appearance up to scratch (so to speak) is so easy.

This is the second time I've applied another coat of the stuff and it took all of an hour today. I took some snaps, as we had some visitors come over. Across the road is a lake and we frequently get ducks coming over for a feed or a drink lol. Today we had a visit by mum and her 13 new chicks.

Anyway, here is the result after 1 hours effort.

Scott, dats a shiny car!

Its times like this that I wish I had a car with a deeper colour other the Quick Silver.

And the Duckys, how cute, sorry, love Ducks. Heaps and heaps of them are at work with their Ducklings. Cracks me up when the Father Duck get pissed of when you walk near his babys and he puts on his angry face, beak slightly open and hissing, Sooooooooo scary but soooooo funny.

Anyway, I love Ducks and no Im not drunk

Scott where are these car polishing products found? Im interested.

Troy :)

Try here Bomi ... http://www.zainobros.com.au/

That looks awesome Scat, as the Coupe has been MIA most of the year I haven't had that satisfaction after a wash for along time. I agree with you, the Zaino stuff is tops. If you go over the car with the Z6 spray after you give it a wash that shine comes straight back out.

Top job anyway mate ... I'll be over with beers as soon as I get the car back. :D

You do get more depth with deeper colours Troy, but I also did Tigs' Silver Astra yesterday as well and know that from now on, it will be simple to keep looking good. Might get some pics of her car and post them up too.

Cheers,

Scott

P.S. notice how I have avoided responding to Nick & Erik :nana:

Hi Scott

Did you polish your car by hand or with a buffing machine of some kind?

Hi Scott

Hi Steve,

I had it done professionally with a buffer about 18 months ago. This gave it a really good base. Now, I add a couple of coats every six months or so by hand. I was told that less is more, so you actually use a tiny amount and gently apply it. Then gently buff it off. Not much elbow grease required at all which suits me fine

Who can you recommend to do it professionally with Zaino? My SV8 really needs a go.

Good question Steve. I had Rick (Will Wax U) do it but I don't think he has this business anymore.

Maybe someone else on the forum can recommend a Sydney detailer that could do the job. Anyone?

Cheers,

Scott

If anyone can recommend a quality detailer who uses zaino products effectively I'd love a PM with their details :)
