Street Machine Magazine Riverina Rev Fest 2006

The 2nd Anual Street Machine Riverina Rev fest was held this weekend here in Wagga Wagga.

With great weather and a good field of cars there was pleanty to keep car enthusist's occupied.

I visited the show today, Sunday, with Geneo (Brock05) and is 3 year old son Angus.

Crowds were not to bad and I guess at its height there were about 2500 to 3000 pepole at the Rev Fest today, Im only guestimating now.

Some of the many events that were held are as follows.

Horse Power Heros (Dyno Comp)

Super Seven (Burnout with 7 Donuts)

Smash Up Derby

Crank Throwing (Talk more about that later)

Elite and Street (Interiors, engine bays, paint etc)

Do you remeber the gold one from Boyz In the Hood? That was banging hahaha.

I like the is200, Ive been considering buying one of those, there a very nice car for your money.

Glad it was a good turn out for the locals, hope you had a good time, and good luck with the sway bar install.

At the moment the Wagga city counsel are keen for this event to be held again next year for a 3rd year.

Ill be going in the dyno shoot out next year!!

Like the pics mate! Another mate of mine ran his green LJ Torana in the Burnout comp, he can in 11th in the final i think (3rd N/A). I should have been down there cooking snags on the barby, but i had a knee op on the Friday before, so i couldn't walk!

Keep in mind they also might be running an End of Summer burnout comp. It would be good to see some of the Sydney members come down, maybe we could organise a TrackChat Display!
