Nitrous 408ci

We finally decided to build an iron block for Sergens GTS as the alloy 383 has done more than was ever expected. The engine will be 408ci running the fogger pro shot nitrous system. I got some bits and pieces back from the machine shop yesterday and today found some time to start setting ring gaps etc. It is going to be a fairly basic engine as i dont think it will be in the car for to long as ther is plans for a big turbo engine.

What'll be running in the GTS at the LS1 Nationals.... or are you planning to have this ready by then?

Hope you get it ready in time for the nats guys...im guessing theres not a whole lot of sleeping going on in the Russo households at the moment!

hi guys here is a few more progress pics. The parts list for the bottom end is a scat forged crank, eagle h beam rods, 2000 arp rod bolts, arp main stud kit, king main bearings, clevlite rod bearings and je pistons with ductile file back rings. The heads are 243 casting but have been modified (cc ported, combustion cambers welded and reshaped etc) we are using crane 1.8 ajustable rocker gear. the cam is a solid roller and has been dialed in were we think it will perform best. hopfully it will be all ready for a test run on wednsday night.
