Im not stalking you Troy
Ive heard of a few ppl getting a bung welded in for a bolt to drain the tranny but i've never seen a kit to do it. Been told they welded it on the centre of the pan and you can then pull the bolt out, drain the fluid like the sump, unbolt the pan and change the filter.
Would definately be a worthwhile option if you do regular services on your tranny.

I think you are stalking me Jez :lmao:
But thanks for replyng in both threads on both forums :yep:
Mick Ill do a how to for it so you can have a crack at it, the kit is only $20.
Sonny said that they get them welded in also but Im not sure if thats 100% needed, probably welded as extra insurance that it doesnt come out and drain your A4 my accident.
Last time I was under the SS I saw that my auto (4L60E) has a recess, a plug looks like it should go there, up outa the way so that it cant get scrapped or knocked off by accident.
I think thats where Ill put mine, we'll see.
Troy :)

Put it as low as possible on the pan mate. So it can all drain
Jez
PS Dont want a mouthful of tranny fluid when you pull the pan off lol
