wow, excellent pics.

For the regular holdens, do they have the full range of VE's to actually sit in, ie. SS, Calais, V-Spec etc? I can see a few on stands there but are they accessable to people? I assume so. Some colleagues of mine want to go, but to actually have a close "tactile" look, not just view on a turn-table.

Btw, the grange looks awesome.

Thanks mate, much appreciated.

I mean that too. This is the first Motor Show I'll miss since about the age of 7...so those photos help soften the blow. :)

Cheers,
- Febs.

yeah - they had the whole range, but they resembled an ants nest with the amount of humans they were around them - hence no pics.

Febs - my pleasure mate, hope all is well abroad - keep those rarities pics rolling in.

Hey Dave,

Would love to help you out mate but all available funds are about to be allocated elsewhere ... lucky I got the Coupe finished before my wife found a new house :D

I took Lachie out to the show yesterday, he had an absolute ball. He sat in every car he could open and had a ball. He is car nut at the age of 4, I have done a good job  They had one of the fluro green Typhoons there, Lachie says ... "This is pretty cool, but it's a Ford and it's green, why would you buy a green car ??? It should be black". :bravo:

The Grange looked awesome, but the tail lights disappointed me. I am a HUGE fan of the HSV tail lights, the Grange rear lights were extremely tame in comparison. The front of the car is perfection ... I think the Coupe 4 front end gave a pretty good indication of where they were heading. Wheel arch flares, chrome surrounds ... very similar.

I will tell one car that really surprised me ... I'm now a big fan ... the Audi A8.

to be honest i was very dissapointed with the show this year. i know holden engineers have been busy with the VE and thats why there is nothing special (ie efijy) this year, except for the H3 which didnt really do anything for me.

audi had a good stand i agree nick, the R8 and the V10 S6 were amazing, i would really love to have a good drive of them.

what i was most dissapointed at was there was no aston martin stand, i love astons and honestly really wanted to see what they had on show this year, its half the reason i went, and the were not even there, and neither was lamborghini.

just my personal opinion but i was very dissapointed.

hopefully next year will be alot better.

oh and the grange and senator were:drool:

i talked to some german blonde chick that was on the HSV stand, she was quite nice so i gave her my number haha, hopefully i will get a call.

grange was definitely the car i liked on the night.

I'm not 100% sure Azza but I think it has something to do with the displacement on demand thingy that is going to be available.

Don't ask me why I think that, maybe it was the voices that told me so?

Don't listen to the voices in your head, remember what happened to you at WSID earlier this year?:weirdo:

i think you will find that it is a intake noise suppressor.

basically a muffler for the intake noise.

they have to put this stuff on so they pass noise standards.

if i got one it would be yanked out real quick lol

That's an LS2 Dave ... don't think there is any possibility of DOD on the LS2 ???
