Just wondering if anyones interested in a "Get 2 Gether" night in Penrith in a few weekends time?
I'm thinking the Peachtree Hotel cnr Peachtree Rd and Northern Rd Penrith at 6pm one Saturday night.
Why?
- Its family friendly, theres often many families there so its safe for all
- They serve some pretty decent tucker for dinner. I havent ever needed to buy tea from there but some of the servings sizes of the pizza and steak YUM!
- They have football on the big screen outside, and on the many TVs inside ... but theres also seating inside especially if its cold.
- After the footy (around 11ish) they put on some live music who play decent music till about 2am.
I'm thinking just a casual get to gether to give people an excuse to get out of the house one Saturday night and go for a few drinks, watch some footy (NRL) and make some new friends with a common interest, perhaps even make friends with people you talk too all the time on this forum!
Peachtree is also less then a 10 minute walk to Penrith Railway Station so its easy to catch a cab back home, and in my experience everyone tends to head home no later then 2am when the live music stops so its not going to be an overall extremely late night.
All we need is 4 or 5 to make it an enjoyable evening but the more the merrier. I'll stress partners/friends/family are welcome

For the purposes of modifying this to suit TC I realise theres not alot of members from the Riff, we're more spread out, so it'd be a trek for some, especially to get home after a few :beer: , but if anyones interested in attending let me know. I originally brought up the suggestion on another forum to get some form of NSW get together going as they havent had one for a while, but If we get enough numbers at TC (say 5 plus) we might even just go for a TC one one night.
