a/c condensor removal?

can any body tell me what i have to do to remove my a/c condesor and still keep my ute on the road till i get a new one.
sorry this is probably wrong section to post in but i didnt see a body area for the post.

Tim Im not sure what you mean.

If you take it out youll loose your AC gas which is a environmental no no.

AFAIK you will still be able to drive your car.

Anyone else know?

an air con place would/can de-cant the gas
then you would have to take the aircon belt off or
would remove fuse so that it wont try to run
that would be the main things

Make sure you plug up all the hoses etc really well as normal air will kill the seals. There is a Air cond compressor on the other forum for $50, just get that and swap em.

so as long as i remove the fuse going to the a/c compressor i should have no troubles with the system trying to do anything?
