When trying to fit my Whitline sway bar myself I found it impossible so I enlisted the help of Mick and Jason at the Engine Doctor in Wagga. Basicaly to get the swaybar in involved more then I thought soooooo... Bugger it I got some Pedders lowered springs put in the car and at the same time got the Whiteline Sway bar installed also.

I wasnt after bling bling guard filling lowered suspension but something a little harder the the stock FE2 and a little lower.

Enter the Pedders Sports Ryder.

Only picked it up yesterday but so far I can feel that the ride is stiffer and body roll is way less. Clearance, well I can still get into my driveway so thats all good.

All up the Pedders lowered the car about 20mm all around.

Thanks to Steve and Mark at Pedders Suspension Wagga Wagga for the service and advice.

As the SS already had 55000km's on the clock the stock FE2 had settled about 10 to 15mm anyway so the Pedders at the moment are only slightly lower then before, 20mm, which I am really happy with as I still wanted to be able to take my car onto car parks and up drive ways etc. The Pedders will settle sligtly over time and I think the clearance will still be of a good standard.

Will post up more info on ride and handleing after the Eastern Creek track day on the 4th Nov.

Ride height looks tippy top Troy, good choice.

Still utilising the OEM shocks & struts?

Looks real good Troy ,

I have FE2 struts ,shocks and HSV springs ,mine doesnt sit as low as that but I really have to be careful now on driveways and speedhumps, I wouldnt like it any lower.

So now the Pedders have been to Sydney and back, I am really happy with their ride and performance.

Remembering that I put a Whiteline sway bar in at the same time so the rear bar would be a big help also.

Around EC the Pedders helped handling noticably more, they are harder than FE2 but not mega. The new rear bar also made a big improvment in handling.

Dont get me wrong the car handles very very well now, I love it.

On the highway and country roads its great, really great. Hard but not back breaking.

Its between 110 and 60 km/h where I have noticed the springs most as that's where I do most of my driving.

If some one asked "should I get Pedders Sports Ryders?" Then my answer would be yes.

On FE2 they are only slightly lower and make a big difference in ride and handeling.

So whats the go with the sway bar? Why was it so hard to change?
I'll be doing my VX soon, so will I have the same problems??

Trust me when I say its in a tight spot and you can only get about one 16th to 1/4 of a turn on a spanner. you will be able to get the the bar out but my advice is to let a pro fit it.

There is a thread on my Whiteline sway bar if your interested. Here is the link.
